Student
accommodation
Following the adoption of free education in the higher education sector, and the sharp spike in demand for student accommodation, we decided to position the company as a leading provider of student accommodation.
Our flagship offering is the Power Park student accommodation which supplies 150 beds to the UJ-Soweto campus. It is also a bold landmark that redefines the design attitude towards student accommodation.
Our strategy further entails acquiring long-term leases from government department as well as state-owned companies, either at greenfield or brownfield stages, for redevelopment into high-quality student accommodation. Various parcels of land are currently undergoing such developments.
Our residential property strategy is anchored by
these pillars
We have acquired an impressive portfolio in new developments, such as Steyn City, for rental and reselling purposes. Our early adoption positions us to benefit from the value appreciation that ultimately tags development completion.
We have also acquired parcels of land that vary in size, geography and zoning prospects with the intention of championing new and exciting developments.
Our assets are deliberately selected against our hedge on the growth of the middle class and its concomitant rise in demand of housing stock.

Office
Our offices are located at the Bruton Office Park, which is 50% owned by us. Furthermore, we have other A-grade offices around the Bryanston area that are used as lease stock.
Hospitality
We have acquired a boutique hotel in the Bryanston area, currently under refurbishment which is intended to render it a 5-star graded facility. At completion, this will offer a combination of accommodation, conferencing/eventing venues, as well as a fine dining restaurant.
We have acquired 80 hectares of land in the Lanseria precinct that is intended for a hotel and conferencing development.
