Kaborona Investments

is a 100% black owned and managed private equity firm with a core focus on mining, property and technology.

Kaborona Investments positions itself as a Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) partner of choice, with the historically disadvantaged youth as beneficiaries, the majority of whom are students.

Kaborona Investments has a long history in the mining sector, having been a founding shareholder in Exxaro, through its interest in Eyesizwe Mining. Kaborona Investments exited its Exxaro stake in 2017, after a ten-year lock in period to pursue investment opportunities in the mining, property and ICT sectors.

Kaborona boasts a creative investment management team with vast experience in business and investment analysis.

The company’s fearless and agile culture further positions us to exploit other high-value opportunities outside our core-focus areas.
